Spring Green 1

Spring is here and this bride wanted green to pop on her wedding invitations. The combination of chocolate brown and bright green set the tone for an elegant spring wedding. The reversed RSVP postcard lightened the suite and added a modern touch.

Two Scoops: Two is Better than One

One scoop is nice, but “Two Scoops” are better!  emDOTzee Designs and Orangerie Events are teaming up to offer a unique guest blogging experience for our readers.  Every other Thursday, the emDOTzee Designs blog and the “Freshly Squeezed” Orangerie Events Blog will team up to feature beneficial articles, tips and ideas pertaining to wedding and event planning.  By reading “Two Scoops”, you’ll get the perspective of a talented and knowledgeable graphic artist as well as the perspective of an experienced wedding and event coordinator.

In honor of launching “Two Scoops”, you have the opportunity to win personalized stationery just by reading.  One lucky follower will win a set of 50 note cards customized with your chosen colors, font and monogram. These note cards are perfect for your personal stationery collection or you could have them customized to give as a thoughtful gift. (Hint: Mother’s Day is right around the corner!)

Entering the contest is easy.  Simply become a fan of emDOTzee and Orangerie Events on Facebook by April 30th,  and you’re automatically entered into the drawing.  If you’re already a fan, you’re already entered.  Could it be any simpler?

The winner will be randomly selected on May 1st and will be featured in an upcoming “Two Scoops” blog.  So spread the word to your friends and family and encourage them to befriend emDOTzee and Orangerie Events on Facebook.  We already know you spend most of your day checking statuses and stalking strangers.  You might as well enter a contest while you’re at it.

Be on the lookout for the next “Two Scoops” installment on April 15th.  Since April 15th is the dreaded tax deadline, we’ll be talking about budget-friendly ideas for your wedding or event. Remember, whether you’re eating ice cream or reading a blog, “Two Scoops” is better than one!

Here is a sample of the free note card design.
If you win, you’ll be able to customize these cards with your own colors, font and monogram!

Check out these summer save-the-dates that we’ve been working on lately. Featured are 3 different formats: a save-the-date card with matching accommodations card, a save-the-date card backed with gold metallic card stock, and a vintage-theme save-the-date postcard.

Find Your Inspiration 1

This first bride was inspired by her full lace wedding dress and her blue and yellow flower scheme. She chose to use a blue lace graphic paired with a yellow backing paper. The reversed blue RSVP postcard added flare to her elegant stationery.

The next bride was inspired by the blue and yellow lace stationery because she too planned to use the same flowers. She asked to change the lace graphic to blue hydrangeas to coordinate with her own wedding and kept the yellow backing paper and blue RSVP postcard to match.

No matter what your color scheme or inspiration, emDOTzee uses your ideas to create unique stationery just for your wedding. Just let us know what inspires you and we will put it on paper.
