Not Too Flowery

This summer bride requested flowing vines and flowers that aren’t too flowery for her wedding invitations. With that in mind, these simple flowering graphics gave her the simplicity she wanted with a vintage feel. We backed the cream invitation with a blue card stock to match the flowers and text. Since most of her guests would be traveling to California, she added an information card about how to get there, where to stay and what to expect on the wedding day.

Bold Floral Pocketfold 3

These brilliant red and metallic gold pocketfold wedding invitations allowed this bride to make a bold statement while giving her guests all the information they needed to make their travel plans. She included an RSVP postcard, information card for the suggested wedding attire, pre-wedding cocktail party and directions to get there, as well as another information card with accommodations and directions to the ceremony. For her wedding party and family, she added another card inviting those members to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Finally, she added a monogrammed tag to the front to decorate the pocketfold and tie the entire suite together.

Black Chic & Chartreuse

This summer bride found modern elegance with black and white swirling designs and punches of chartreuse green. This theme continued throughout her stationery suite from her wedding invitations, to ceremony programs, to reception signage and even bookmark favors.

Baby and Bridal

emDOTzee has been busy with invitation designs for some very special occasions other than weddings. Thanks to Sandfoot Photography for hiring us to design our first custom baby shower invitations. This pink and green paisley invitation celebrates Nicole and Ryal and their first baby. Baby girl Hailey is on the way and has a beautiful pink and green paisley nursery to match her baby shower invitations.

We were also lucky to be hired by a bridesmaid of one of our brides to design bridal shower invitations that will coordinate with the wedding invitations we have planned for her upcoming wedding. These invitations feature textured pink card stock with brown ink and matching chocolate brown backing card stock. We’re thrilled to add this special event to our invitation designs.

Two Scoops: Here’s Your Sign

The Scoop from Orangerie Events

We’ve all seen the show Platinum Weddings or other shows featuring brides who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on their wedding.  I’m sure if I were in their tax bracket, I would throw an elaborate and ridiculous affair too.   The reality is that most people hosting a wedding this year are seeking ideas on ways to save money without comprising the quality or the “fun factor.”  The key to planning a memorable wedding that leaves your guests talking is all in the little things.  Here’s your sign – it’s all about the details.

Even the most mundane wedding staples such as distributing the programs or indicating the gift table can be taken up a notch by using customized signage.  If you create and execute your wedding theme beginning with the Save the Dates, you can then carry out that theme throughout the wedding by coordinating all of your signage to match.  It’s a simple touch that makes a huge impact.  With customized signs, your wedding looks completely cohesive from start to finish.

The Scoop from emDOTzee Designs

emDOTzee offers any paper products that you may need for your wedding celebration. This includes signage – no matter how small in quantity or size.

Many brides need a few signs to explain elements of their ceremony or reception or to label items for their guests. emDOTzee will design these signs to match your invitation stationery or wedding decor.

Different options include: small flat signs to frame, erect with stands or attach to baskets… tented signs to place on tables… or even poster-sized signs to stand on easels.

Two Scoops Follow Up

Orangerie Events and emDOTzee Designs hosted a contest in the month of April to reward one of our Facebook friends with customized stationery.  Meredith Barlowe was selected as the proud recipient of the note cards pictured below.  We couldn’t have selected a more deserving winner.  Take a moment to read a message from Meredith describing her feelings on winning personalized stationery from Orangerie Events and emDOTzee.

I’m super excited to be chosen as the winner.  I am in the Army and recently returned from Iraq.  While I was in Iraq, I started writing letters as thank you notes to the amazing people who sent me care packages and letters.  I continued writing when I returned home and I love the fact that I now have personalized cards to send as thank you notes.  Thanks so much!” – Meredith Barlowe

Sandy Dunes & Cattails | Beach Invitation 1

With shades of blues and greens, these designs feature grassy sand dunes leading up to the ocean. The invitation is backed with Caribbean blue card stock and matched with an RSVP postcard. To finish off the stationery suite, a tall & wide one-sided wedding program and thank you card continued the beach theme.
