Antique Airline Ticket Wedding Invitations with Turkish Patterns, Evil Eyes & UNC-Chapel Hill Old Well
FUN FRIDAY: Turkish and UNC-Chapel Hill Themed Boarding Pass Wedding Invitations
Rather than a destination wedding, these custom airline ticket invitations represent this multicultural, travel-themed wedding perfectly. The Turkish bride and America groom wanted their invitations and wedding to represent their cultures and personalities. To do this, we included floral patterns and vines in shades of purple to mimic the look of Turkish patterns. We also incorporated the Turkish “evil eyes,” which are an important symbol in the bride’s culture to protect against evil and jealous people. To represent Chapel Hill, and the location of the wedding ceremony, a graphic of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Old Well is included on the ticket invitation. The pocket folder that encloses the ticket invitation and luggage tag RSVP, also includes a lot more symbols and information for their guests. The couple’s personality really shines with the cute icons and graphics representing the itinerary and helpful hints for the wedding day. Also perfect for the boarding pass theme, a world map is included on the pocket with hearts showing where the bride and groom are from, and where they met and are getting married in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

These baseball ticket wedding invitations feature red and yellow baseball swirls with a tear-off RSVP stub, perfect for a wedding in the St. Louis Cardinals’ Busch Stadium. The ticket invitation is enclosed in a custom red pocket folder printed with additional information about the wedding weekend. But the baseball theme didn’t stop there. We also created baseball themed wedding announcements, thank you cards and ceremony programs with the same red and yellow swirls. For the reception, we designed a smaller tented version of the ticket invitation to use as escort cards. Each table was named after a famous St. Louis Cardinal complete with their jersey number.
