FUN FRIDAY: Vintage 1930s Airline Ticket Wedding Invitations
This bride came to me with specific requests for her custom boarding pass wedding invitations. She wanted them to reflect her 1930s aviation themed wedding with a vintage airplane as the main graphic. The airline ticket invitation featured a beige watermark aircraft behind the text with a Deco font and red accents. The RSVP card was in a luggage tag format with the same red, beige and black deco fonts. Both were enclosed in a metallic silver pocket folder with the same vintage airplane on the front along with a “Love is in the Air” tagline. The inside of the folder was printed with additional information with cute icons for each blurb, and a globe with the 1930s airplane flying around it. The pocket of the folder included a compass emblem with the couple’s names, wedding date and location. We continued the compass and airplane theme to matching thank you cards as well.

FUN FRIDAY: Grape Vineyard Boarding Pass Wedding Invitations
You don’t have to have a tropical destination wedding to use our popular airline ticket wedding invitations. This bride included a travel theme for her vineyard wedding with an elegant boarding pass wedding invitation featuring coral pink grapes and wine with gray leaves and vines. A luggage tag RSVP card continued the travel theme with the same coral and gray winery graphics. Both cards were enclosed in a metallic silver pocket folder with grape accents. The inside of the folder included more event information printed on the top flap. All three pieces also included a secondary love theme with tagline “Love Has No Bounds.”

FUN FRIDAY: Travel Themed Boarding Pass Wedding Invitations & Passport Programs
Rather than a destination wedding, these boarding pass wedding invitations were designed especially for a couple combining their two cultures with a travel themed wedding. The airline ticket invitation and luggage tag RSVP featured pinks swirls and a yellow compass with orange accents. Both were enclosed in a hot pink pocket folder with a globe printed on the front and a compass inside.
To continue the travel theme to their wedding day, we created matching passport wedding programs with a hot pink outside, and pink swirls and yellow globe and compass inside. The inside included a passport format on the left side with a photo of the couple and details about their wedding, and an itinerary of events for the reception on the right. We left an area on the left side titled ‘destination’, where the couple added a label with each guest’s name and their table assignment for the reception, acting as escort cards. The back included a special thank you to their guests in multiple fonts for a poster style look.
