Playing off our airline ticket wedding invitations, this bride requested baseball ticket wedding invitations for her baseball themed reception at Citizens Bank Park in Pennsylvania. To dress up the baseball ticket look a bit, we used swirl baseball graphics and a pretty script font. The RSVP card tore off like a ticket stub to be mailed back in an envelope. We enclosed the baseball ticket in a custom red pocket folder, which included additional information about the wedding, parking and accommodations for the weekend. And for her reception… we recreated the baseball tickets in a miniature version for tented escort cards. The reception tables were named after baseball stadiums, so each escort card included a logo of a baseball team along with the team’s stadium name.

This creative bride came to me with specific requests for airline ticket wedding invitations featuring eagle feathers instead of the standard beach theme. She wanted to incorporate her wedding colors of Jade green and Citron green along with the story of their wedding proposal. The groom asked her to marry him on an airline ticket and gave her an engagement ring with a feather embracing the diamond. Needless to say, this bride loves eagle feathers, and these custom wedding invitations were a perfect fit for her and her groom! We also carried over the shades of green and feather theme to her matching folding ceremony programs.

The invitation is formatted to look like an airline boarding pass and the RSVP like a luggage tag. I’m excited to show off another fun project just completed for one of my destination wedding couples Charity and Mike. You may remember their passport save-the-date cards featured in an earlier blog post. To go along with that same theme, their wedding invitation was created to look like an airline ticket and the RSVP as a luggage tag. I created custom pocket folders for them to be placed in with a palm tree “ticket to paradise” emblem on the front, and reservation information and a map inside. Thanks again Charity and Mike for another great sample to add to my collection.
