FUN FRIDAY: Road Map Reception Program
This fabulous couple loves traveling and road trips, and they have the pictures to prove it. To reflect their travel-themed wedding reception, we created custom “Road Maps” for their reception programs featuring primary colors, lots of pictures and a map of the US showing where they have traveled. The front, cleverly titled “Oh! The Places We Will Go,” shows photos of the couple at various State Line signs. The two inner panels include a menu for the reception with photos and descriptions of the food stations and their Cookie Table, and a “mixtape” listing some of the songs that would be played at the reception and why they were chosen. When you open the road map, you find a map of the U.S. adorned with photos of the couple’s travels and markers for some of their favorite spots. A yellow insert lists their top 10 places to visit with descriptions of why they love them, with an additional 23 places listed along side the map inside. Finally, the back lists the couple’s “road trip buddies” consisting of their wedding party and family members, complete with quirky descriptions and inside jokes. I’m sure the guests at this reception had just as much fun reading through this map, as I did designing it!

FUN FRIDAY: Winter Wheat themed Baby Photo Save-the-Dates
This couple wanted unique save-the-date cards featuring their baby photos, a collage of their engagement portraits on their farm in Minnesota, and a wheat theme to go with the rural setting. We included their baby photos on the front of a gatefold card with a purple background and tan wheat graphics. The back features the same purple and tan wheat background with a couple engagement pictures and their wedding website address. The card opens to a collage of six photos along with their wedding date information and an olive green background with brown wheat graphics.

FUN FRIDAY: Celestial Moon and Stars Wedding Invitations
These astronomy themed wedding invitations feature a white and royal blue celestial moon and stars background. The RSVP has a white framed box to make it easier for guests to write in their response. You may remember this couples’ star gazing save-the-date cards from an earlier blog post, featuring the same moon and shooting stars. They wanted to stick with the astrology theme, but have more formal invitations than their playful save-the-dates.

Yellow, Red, Orange & Brown Fall Tree & Leaves, New Mexico Mountain Sunset & Hot Air Balloon Wedding Invitations
FUN FRIDAY: Hot Air Balloon over a Fall New Mexico Mountain Sunset
Although this bride was across the country, we were able to create the perfect custom wedding invitations for her fall mountain wedding in New Mexico. She provided us with a photo of the view from her ceremony location and explained that she wanted to include a fall tree to mimic the Cottonwood forest, with a mountain backdrop, and a hot air balloon flying overhead.
With all her requests in mind, we designed a fall tree with yellow, red, orange and brown falling leaves with large brown mountain range behind, and of course, a yellow, orange and red hot air balloon above. We mailed out a hard copy proof to her, and she felt the colors were a bit too bright and wanted a textured paper to give the invitation a more vintage, rustic feel. So we printed the same design on a cream, linen card stock and she loved it!

FUN FRIDAY: Cute Custom Baby Shower Invitations
These baby shower invitations for a dear friend feature shades of pinks and greens in a cute tree full of flowers, ladybugs and butterflies especially designed to match the baby nursery. The pale green background mimics a single green wall in the nursery adorned with beautiful flowering tree branches to match the flowering tree crib bedding. Custom baby shower invitations can be designed to match any aspect of the baby’s nursery, clothing, decor or shower theme.
These custom baby shower invitations were designed for a mom-to-be who already has a baby girl and is now expecting a boy. A pink mommy bird and green daddy bird sit on a tree branch with a nest holding a pink baby girl bird and smaller green baby boy bird. The baby blue background and green names set the tone for the baby boy shower. These could easily be switched to use for a baby girl shower with a pink color scheme, and can include as many birds in the nest as needed.
