Beautiful and elegant pink patterns were the focal point on these two recently designed bridal shower invitations. The first features a navy blue and pink damask border and the bride’s monogram and the second includes a pink swirling scroll border on elegant white linen paper. A mother of the bride and a bridesmaid of another contacted emDOTzee after we had been working with the brides on their other wedding stationery items. We love helping to make the “design” of the wedding come to fruition and making ideas become reality for these lovely brides.

Floral and swirl patterns are very popular for modern wedding invitations. So why not combine the two? These custom wedding invitations feature pink swirls with orange flowers paired with chocolate brown text. The following invitations feature a similar floral swirl pattern with red swirls and yellow flowers.

Both of these 2011 brides came to me with unique ideas for their save the date postcards. The first was looking for a simple pink airplane to represent the countless trips the bride and groom make between the United States and Germany, where the bride is from. The airplane features a “Save the Date” flag, which we will carry over with other personalized text for her invitations and thank you cards. She also wanted to include her text in both German and English to accommodate all of her guests.
The second bride found a vintage postcard featured in the Durwood Barbour Collection of North Carolina Postcards in Wilson Library at UNC-Chapel Hill that she wanted to incorporate into her save the date postcard. With their permission, we reproduced the postcard on a cream linen card stock and added her save the date text in a blue handwritten script on the back of the postcard. There’s no doubt her save the dates are a stand out piece.

These desert themed wedding invitations and programs were custom designed especially for a bride getting married in Tucson, Arizona. She requested a desert landscape featuring the Arizona mountains, saguaros cactus and a fall sunset. To add some personality to her RSVP, we used cute responses and check boxes with meal illustrations for the fish, chicken, veggie and children’s options.

These astrology themed wedding invitations feature a sapphire blue starry night sky with moon and shooting stars above a treeline. The celestial invitations were backed with silver metallic card stock and mailed in dark blue metallic envelopes. Both the invitation and coordinating RSVP postcard added flare and personality with their creative wording and cute responses.

Swirls and scrolls are very popular for both traditional and modern wedding invitations. These modern invitations both feature swirls paired with the same two fonts. The simple, elegant script and small caps block font are are perfect pair for wedding invitations. The first invitation includes navy blue circular swirls surrounding the text on on a cream card stock, and the second incorporates a red scroll with a black border dividing it from the text on a white card stock.
