Creative reception stationery is a great way to add flare to your wedding day. Using themed table names rather than table numbers to direct your guests to their seats is a fun way to add personality to your reception. And using illustrations for your guests’ meal choices adds a cute touch to their escort cards and makes the waiters’ job even easier.
Check out these Boston themed table name cards with a different Boston neighborhood map for each table paired with red floral escort cards that matched the wedding invitations. And these pink and black swirl table numbers and escort cards with pictures of a cow, chicken or carrot for the beef, chicken and vegetarian meal options.

Swirls and scrolls are very popular for both traditional and modern wedding invitations. These modern invitations both feature swirls paired with the same two fonts. The simple, elegant script and small caps block font are are perfect pair for wedding invitations. The first invitation includes navy blue circular swirls surrounding the text on on a cream card stock, and the second incorporates a red scroll with a black border dividing it from the text on a white card stock.

I have been excited to blog about these save-the-date postcards and wedding invitations for a long time… partially because they feature UNC’s colors, but mostly because they turned out so beautifully. When other brides see these in my sample book, they always have to take them out and look at the entire collection together. And even if these are not what they are going for with their own wedding, they still think they are really wonderful. That being said, I’m happy to show off these modern wedding invitations with each card featuring a different color background of Carolina blue, navy blue or cream – paired with thick swirls and the couple’s monogram. Love them!
Check back soon to see their matching ceremony programs and thank you cards, and coordinating rehearsal dinner invitations.
