Astrology Themed Wedding Invitations 6

These astrology themed wedding invitations feature a sapphire blue starry night sky with moon and shooting stars above a treeline. The celestial invitations were backed with silver metallic card stock and mailed in dark blue metallic envelopes. Both the invitation and coordinating RSVP postcard added flare and personality with their creative wording and cute responses.

Airline Ticket Wedding Invitations 6

I’m excited to show off another fun project just completed for one of my destination wedding couples Charity and Mike. You may remember their passport save-the-date cards featured in an earlier blog post. To go along with that same theme, their wedding invitation was created to look like an airline ticket and the RSVP as a luggage tag. I created custom pocket folders for them to be placed in with a palm tree “ticket to paradise” emblem on the front, and reservation information and a map inside. Thanks again Charity and Mike for another great sample to add to my collection.

Natured Inspired

These wedding invitations were inspired by the beauty of nature. Tree branches and wild flowers add a rustic and romantic feel to these designs.

Both are  printed on cream linen with brown ink for the text and their accent colors of bright green and deep purple reflect the season of each wedding. The bright green leaves are perfect for this late summer wedding, whereas the purple wild flowers with brown backing card stock set the tone for the rustic fall wedding.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Wedding 9

To prove that emDOTzee can create any kind of wedding invitations you would like, check out this stationery suite based on Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” that we custom designed for a recent bride.

Christine picked tri-panel invitations to illustrate her unique theme. The graphic wrapped around the inside of the card onto the directions panel, with a hint of it included on the tear-off RSVP postcard. We incorporated the actual font from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” to make the theme as realistic as possible. We then carried the same graphics and fonts onto her ceremony programs and 2-sided favor tags that also included a photo of the bride and groom on the back. For her wedding announcements, Christine wanted to include another Tim Burton movie reference from his new movie “Alice in Wonderland.” We incorporated the swirly tree branches from the movie coupled with “The Nightmare Before Christmas” font to create a simpler announcement design.

Thanks Christine and Byron for giving us such a unique and fun stationery suite to design!
