This Hawaiian bride came to us with a vision for modern ocean themed wedding invitations incorporating her colors of dark purple, light purple, dark gray and light gray. Using thick light purple, dark purple and turquoise swirls and dots resembling ocean waves, we created metallic silver pocketfold wedding invitations perfect for her Hawaiian beach wedding. Dark gray was included for the text with a fun modern script for the couple’s name and the headers of the information cards in the pocket. The pocket held 4 cards: rehearsal & dinner, RSVP postcard, two-sided travel and accommodations cards, and two-sided directions and map cards. A square tag was added to the front of the pocketfold incorporating all the colors of the invitations and a darling quote “Because Love Should Be Celebrated” along with the couple’s names and wedding date. We also created matching day-of stationery with the same ocean wave pattern, including ceremony programs, table numbers and “Mahala” thank you cards.
FUN FRIDAY: Winter Wheat themed Baby Photo Save-the-Dates
These traditional thermography wedding invitations, featuring a black monogram and scroll with raised black text on cream linen, were perfect for this formal affair. To add a modern twist, the RSVP, reception and accommodations cards were held in a metallic silver clutch pocket. These invitations coordinated with the formal black and cream save-the-date cards and monogrammed note cards, we created for this couple earlier. We also designed formal day-of stationery to match, including menus, candy bar favor tags, place cards with colored dots signifying meal choices, and a seating chart poster with map of the reception.
These modern wedding invitations feature a rich black background with white text, lime green and white simple swirl with dots, and lime green script names. The RSVP card is reversed with a white background and lime green and black simple swirl with dots. The reception meal choices are listed in a chart with cute meal icons of a cow, chicken, fish and <12 options.
This bride came to us for custom wedding stationery featuring an orange and purple floral print mimicking the look of daisies or sunflowers. We started with a simple save-the-date card to set the tone with orange daisies and flower buds and dark purple leaves and branches. The same orange and purple floral was carried over to the wedding invitations, RSVP cards and accommodations/directions cards. We added a dark purple belly band with a sheer cream ribbon to wrap the invitation suite. This stationery package wouldn’t be complete without matching tall & thin two-sided ceremony programs for her big day. And this bride added an extra item – custom crossword puzzles about the bride and groom created by her dad to keep the guests entertained while waiting for the wedding party to arrive at the reception.
These modern wedding invitations feature dark purple and light gray asymmetric swirls with a metallic Merlot purple backing. The colors of the swirls alternate on each card with the invitation with gray swirls, RSVP with purple swirls and accommodations card with gray swirls. The simple swirls and non-traditional script font are perfect for a modern wedding.
These custom pocketfold wedding invitations feature a gray magnolia flower, green love bird and orange accents in a dark gray pocketfold. The pocket holds an RSVP postcard with matching green bird sitting on a gray magnolia, and a directions card with a green bird flying in the corner. The front of the pocketfold is decorated with a square tag with the couple’s names, wedding date and same flying green bird. You may remember this couple’s save-the-date cards from an earlier blog
